Donating to our mission allows us to not only serve but also to love and hear the stories from more neighbors in need, like Susan.

Susan's story - Susan was born in Baltimore an orphan, and she never felt truly at home. She ran away when she was 17 and has been living outside for 15 years. Her face lit up after talking about Jamal. Jamal is the last of 16 kids on the street that she's personally helped to get through high school. She seemed like a a local mother Teresa. She really wanted us to know that we shouldn't feel sorry for her being outside and she feels the need to be a light for others on the street. Her dog, Sugarbugga Biscuits ("Bugga" for short) was so sweet. Her god mother is the manager at the local Marshals. - Submitted by a Givr
